The 2021/22 NFL Playoffs are rolling into fruition with a number of the league’s most established and prestigious franchises looking to book their place in this year’s rendition of the Super Bowl which is already shaping up to be an unmissable event for all sporting fanatics.
After a thrilling and overly ambitious 2021/22 NFL regular season, football fans are now gearing up for the eagerly anticipated postseason playoffs between the league’s biggest names.
While some NFL franchises that finished in the lower seeded rankings will now look ahead to a full scale rebuild or a high pick in the upcoming NFL Draft during the offseason, the league’s highest ranked teams will compete against their conference rivals before deciding the fate of the prestigious Vince Lombardi trophy at Super Bowl 56.
The regular season concluded with a compelling finish with the Las Vegas Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers earning a spot in the postseason in shocking fashion as the Raiders defeated the LA Chargers after a tremendous encounter, with the Indianapolis Colts also losing to the bottom seeded Jacksonville Jaguars that allowed the Steelers to book their place in the postseason at the expense of their fierce rivals the Baltimore Ravens.
The Tennessee Titans were able to clinch the first seed in the AFC along with the Green Bay Packers in the NFC that allows both franchises to earn a buy into the divisional round.
All other top seven seeded teams will now compete against one another for a chance to play in the Conference Championship games, with a place at Super Bowl 56 also being on the cards.

This year’s event is already shaping up to be one of the most eagerly anticipated in recent memory with fans remaining split on who is capable of lifting the Lombardi trophy. In the current Super Bowl odds, the KC Chiefs stand as the outright favorite with +120 odds, the LA Rams are second favorites at +200, with the 49ers at +450 and outsiders CIN Bengals at +800.

For the first time since 2016, the Super Bowl is returning to California and will be housed in one of the NFL’s finest and newest venues, SoFi Stadium.
Home to both the LA Rams and Chargers, SoFi is one of only two stadiums to house a secondary NFL franchises following the Chargers relocation to Los Angeles back in 2017, with this prestigious venue being arguably the most glamorous and highly coveted venues that the league has to offer making it a fitting stadium to host the latest Super Bowl installment.
With just over the required 70,000 capacity and a construction cost that ranged in the region of $3.5 billion, which was completed in August of 2020, SoFi Stadium remains as a prime destination for a number of sporting events in the near future including college sports, Olympic events and even a destination for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Given how LA remains as one of the county’s biggest sporting markets, SoFi is certainly a standout from its peers and even features numerous hotspots around the stadium and a plaza with perhaps the biggest highlight of the stadiums interior being the ‘Oculus’ video screen across the stadium’s summit, marking this venue as a must have for any sporting dweller’s bucket list.
It remains unclear on which teams will be heading out onto the turf of SoFi ahead of Super Bowl 56, yet there will be plenty of entertainment to keep all neutral fans entertained including live performances from Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J Blige all set to perform at the fabled halftime show.
The Super Bowl is one of the most widely televised events across the world and remains as a spectacle for all American sports, with this year’s event already gearing up to be among the most anticipated in recent memory.
